Called in this pub recently after seeing decent (if old) reviews but found it shabby and beer poor.

The Duck and Drake, Leeds

Good pub for variety of real ale all well kept. Music free and frequent (thurs - sun mainly). Big problem with prices though ! As dear if not dearer than most pubs in centre and the Ritz it ain't.

The Rat and Ratchet, Huddersfield

Excellent trad pub with good range of quality ale and ciders. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend.
