on our way to littlehampton,yesterday afternoon,only had coffee and a bottle of magners(so not relly beerinthemorning) but very pleasent service with big smiles..and my mother in law(she who will be obeyed)said what a very nice place lets go for lunch one day,so we will...rating given 6/10,may improve after next visit,whan we try the ale.

in todays market we have to find our own niche,and if the owners are prepared to make this stand it is down to them and what trade they want, they are prepared to lose money so be it,but up the game in other ways,very good ales and very good food,but aimed at a adult market....if not then find another pub,ive heard worthing is a very good area,with loads of funeral homes,but they must realise that it would be a dying customer base...far better (i think and i will be shot down in flames)too introduce young drinkers into the pub at an early age i.e as in france,italy etc. and i am not talking mc spoons(where i have seen the children running riot with no controls we all have) but a good well run pub,owned and run by responsible managers/etc...no rating left,but lone you all..mrs guv has just said dont you f......g go on,yes was my meek reply

wasnt going to comment on this site again,but can see that U.B.O.EGHAM.has decided to have a go plus giving 0.points,please give them a chance, potjana feels strongly about her pub,the original comment came about false postings,and he/she decided too have a go back,well pubs are like children,we defend them,so apart from the name calling and the childish posts she/him/it. made against me i would like you all please,not to post on this pub unless you have been there....( nothing to shout about,a middle of the road pub with average pub food)..but give them a chance, may improve!...without false postings......review policeman(in fact a lover of well kept english bitter and well run pubs)...thank you and for the last time(i hope)goodbeerintheevening...no rating given

no not at all,just somebody that dosent like false posting,i mean lets be fair the site is about people who enjoy good pubs and good ale,why should anybody go too a pub and then find that when they get get there they have found everything they have read on this site is false,that is not on,lets keep managers,staff and friends from using this site to promote there personal interests,let the pub stand alone and be judged for what it is.pubs have for the last few years have had enough problems just keeping there doors open,those that cant step up too the mark need too up there game,they cannot rely on fase postings to try and gain footfall,sorry bit of a rant......no rating given

in fact have just spoke (sorry asked)the wife if she and the little ones want to go back to brighton again this saturday(for shopping and to play on the pier) and mrs guv says yes,i suppose you will be in the pub? and i said yes please,see you there on saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!! happy days

was there on the 19th..but says it all..sod off and get stuffed...well go back? i dont think so...do the company who own this pub agree with this persons thoughts about us,the people who spend money in there pub and pay the wages??? i will not go back in there again,and ask all my friends not too use this place ever again...if i was the owner of this public house i would be ashamed of the comments made earlier by the so called chef.there is a better pub around the corner called the foresters.please use it in the future...SOD OFF AND GET STUFFED i dont think so,our money and we will spend it where we think,without your bad attitude...zero rating

ill bet that cookies,winsfoodies and craigjohson,are now gutted,an old pub reinventing itself,your going to get both good and bad postings,just go with the flow,if you get bad reviews take them on board,have a think and see if they are genuine complaints and something you the owners can do something about.wish all the best for the future but dont try and con people(it does backfire)no rating given.

agree with last comment,i too was here on sunday,we all had the food and ale, and a very good time was had by all,making plans now to return in a couple of weeks, 8 out of 10.well done.

good visit,summer lightning,london pride and abbott on sale,tried the lightning and the pride all in good condition,service very attentive by a barmaid called lucy,but very smokey and full of students,seems to be a food house at lunchtime as posted earlier this house will benefit from the no smoking regs.

first time in pub for to 2 years totally changed for the good, now a regular and have been chossen for pub cricket team and will play golf with the pub golf soceity this pub is very customer friendly and the staff talk and smile which seems to be very rare these days beers good foods great even my girl friend felt comfortable i am hooked

not been in for a couple of months,doom bar t.t.landlord and l.pride had the landlord and doom bar all in good condition,now serving food in the evenings,friendly bar staff and customers,enjoyed my visit will return soon.

went in on saturday lunch,front bar being repainted ,new carpet on the floor,looking so much better,good company,good service,good ale,5 casks on the go,tried l.pride and the sussex both in very good condition,must recomend the barmaid (toni)very much on the ball,must now be the best pub in molesey,after the sad decline of the oak.

was in last night (14/03/07)yes there are some chavs,but not as many as seen in the past,beer in very good nick,service a bit slow,but a very plesant couple of hours,will return.

was in friday night,i couldnt stay to long the front bar was filled up with sky contractors shouting and swearing,nobody behind the bar seemed to care,will never go back,this pub has gone to far down the hill.

good service,four real ales,all on,tried london pride
very good,why are they still selling courage best ?
met two old friends chips and martin, who have come down from the royal oak,the cannon and the hotham are taking over the royal oak,(see previous reports on both pubs)will revisit next in the area,by the way as leaving jazz band setting up,good ale,good service,will return
