i went into this "pub" last saturday and still cant believe how i was served. it was a busy night but on ordering a vodka and coke the bar man picked the ice out of the bucket with his hand, when i complained and said i wanted a fresh drink he got really pissie and slammed the new drink infront of me. he also said to another barmaid that if anyone wanted a vodka and coke use this one. i dont know why i keep going back there, if any one can think of anywhere a forty something bloke can have a late drink on a saturday with out lots of screaming kids about please let me know

I went in on saturday night for a couple of pints and the place was really really busy. Great pub, good bit of singing by the crowd and a really good atmosphere only spoilt by the mad landlord closing at eleven when he has got at least another hour of permitted time to go. And not to mention the really annoying doorman shouting at FIVE past for us to start drinking up, i only bought my last pint at five to and got the impression that although we spent a lot of cash there we were not welcome to finish are drinks at a resonable pace but had to neck them and clear off.

All i can say is what a dirty place this is, tha bar staff look if they could do with a bit of a scrub aswell. if you like listening to good music but dont care about the state of the pub its the place for you, however i will not be back until it has had a bloody good clean.

The Seven Stars, Bristol

I just popped in for a quick one on saturday night, first time for way too long, as usual landlord and lady really friendly and the beer and cider was top form. It was really busy but got served quickly by the lovely landlady. The only down side of my quick visit was i ended up chatting to some mad irishman. Will be back soon just hope i can avoid the little irish one.

I cant believe the last comment. Says what a greet pub, which it is. Says how nice the beers are, which they are. Then says wont come back because of the price. Has he not heard of enterpise inns. They charge the pub twice the price for its beers compared to all the free houses arond it and it is still only thirty to forty pence more. I would rather pay that little extra than go to the two very unfriendly pubs with iffy beer and loud music that are its so called competition.
