The Jolly Sailor, Waterfoot

What a transformation! New licencees have really brought this pub back up, in my estimation. Been in the past two weekends and the place was heaving. Great beer-deck out the back. Food too. One not to be missed.

The Kings Arms, Weymouth

We went in on Grand National day and loved the place. A proper pub. Friendly and traditional. We really liked it.

The Black Dog, Weymouth

After running the gauntlet of drunken, old, bald buffoons having a smoke by the door, i was disappointed to find that the internet jukebox had been replaced with a normal one. Totally ruined the place for me.

Wainwrights Inn, Great Langdale

a great pub. Food excellent, good beers, and a friendly atmosphere. Got totally wasted here in Sept.

The Jolly Sailor, Waterfoot

Called in the other night for a pint and something to eat. Unfortunately, no food. Whether this is a temporary, or permanent attraction, we didn't stay long enough to find out.

The George Inn, Weymouth

Top marks for this one! I haven't got a bad word to say about the place. A great selection of beers, spirits, coctails and shooters. Some of the live bands i've seen there have been phenomenal. "What would scooby do"....excellent. Mind you, if you're feeling your age, or just want a quiet drink, UNLUCKY!! ha ha ha.

The Railway Inn, Waterfoot

Friendly it may be, but by God if you intend to visit on Karaoke nights take some ear plugs!!

The Buck Inn, Waterfoot

A great night out. Friendly and warm. Good food alyhough a little over-priced. On my last visit, the place was full of blokes in dinner suit and wellies combinations, and even a couple of cross dressers too, maybe fancy-dress, or just the norm for a few of the in-bred locals!! Whatever the case, a wonderful evening.

The Royal Hotel, Waterfoot

I've seen more life on the "Marie Celeste". I last visited on a Friday night and there were FOUR people in, and one of those was staff!!

The Duke Of Buccleuch, Waterfoot

A newly refurbished watering hole. Very clean and bright. No hats allowed which seems a little ridiculous at this time of year! Bandits, quiz machine and pool. Sadly, no jukebox....i hate having my music taste dictated to me! Smoking area UNHEATED (obviously a nonsmoking landlord). Oh, and it tends to close early, the bar closed at 10.45pm on my last visit.
