Open and shut on a weekly basis it seems, at the moment it is a failed Indian restaurant, needless to say, it is shut.

Rascist, filthy, unfriendly, drinks and food not to be served to starving pigs. Your clothes, forget it squaddies, walkers, hikers, tourists, security personnel, just ignore this place. There is nothing worth crossing the threshold for.

I review this pub months ago praising the beer quality and the price My review never appeared. Try the place out the Bitter is grand and I couldn't fault the mild or the lager even tho' I generally don't touch the stuff.

I concur I had Lunch there yesterday and tho the menu was a bit 'pub grub' in its offerings the food was anything but Crazy Mexican Chicken Burger can be highly recommended A goodly portion plenty of Salad and Slaw served by a cracking Blonde lady who enquired twice 'if everything was ok?' I was disappointed at first because I wanted a drink at about 1100-1115 and the Hart only opens at 1200 but the food made up for it. Well apportioned pub too.

Walking up to the pub after finding out the two previous inns didn't open until 1200 and dying for a drink (as one is when walking) I was really pleased that I was served with an excellent Hen by a friendly helpful Landlord altho' the barstaff proper (a very nice Lady) were not due to arrive for and hour. Now, that to my mind is a decent thing to be. Open when needed! Cheers to the Boot!

Was there yesterday and enjoyed the Ale and Cider on offer. Visited the Goats out back too. Bloody icy wind so a couple more to brace myself was needed. Friendly folk running the place, Ale good, Cider good. Weather rubbish, all in all 9/10. Haven't knocked a point off for the weather, not the Pubs fault :)

Map marker is incorrect Pub is over the bridge toward the river, Marker shows a different building altogether.

Eine Stuck Heimat! For me walking into this pub was like coming home again after being lost in a wilderness. Bier from home, food from home, great staff, good regulars, going back Wednesday, and every following Wednesday, until I get back to Austria. Hoamatland, Hoamatland i han di so gern...

Missed the May Festival due to illness, probably the saddest time of my life, 65 ales on and I missed them, WOE Alas. I did manage to get a drop of the Tea Kettle Stout from Hertfordshires Tring Brewery @ 4.7abv Wonderful drop of black gold. Worth a try even if you are not a Stout person, far superior to that horrible Guiness sludge!

Ok, this is one of Favourite watering holes but there is a some good news for all us South Brummies The Prince is holding a Beer festival in Moseley 2nd July to 5th July 2009. Looking at the beer list REALLY worth a visit. Even have a 10% ABV from Burton Bridge Brewery that has got to be worth a try. I shan't miss it ! The Landlord may have to throw me out on the 6th if I haven't tried all the ales by that time.

Accomodating friendly Asian lady staffing the bar when I visited last week 20/05/09. Enville was top class. Toilets of the pub tidiest I have seen in a pub in many a long year. Pub has just won 'best pub in Staffs award' and rightly so. Mine hostess came into the garden to find out if I needed anything more. Spent time chatting tho' she was busy and put me at my ease. Canal running at the side of a garden big enought for a cricket match. Clean tidy a pleasure to drink in. Well done!
