For all those who think Thirty is old....you will get there one day and will really be lucky to find a gem like harry smiths.I had a great day here on good Friday and found eveyone great company.People our age also know how to have a good laugh without having to quaff loads of alcopops(lots of large vodkas and sodas though)Keep up the good work lads and see you next time I'm in St Albans.xxx

This is what sums up what's wrong with pubs these days.I used to live in St Albans and remember this place being a bank...maybe time to go back to one.AVOID at all costs.Complete crap.Go to the boot nearby and see how a pub should be run

Had a little break in Brighton and found this pub after wandering around the lanes.Had a great Sunday roast and even got tempted into the treacle pud even though I was full from gorgeous roast beef.Staff were really friendly and efficient and the wine and food were a really good price.It restored my faith in the great British pub.And I should know;I run one

As said before,The Mook is now closed.It's going to be another Foxtons(like we need another in Nottinghill)and although it wasnt everyones cup of tea,it was a good place to have a later drink with drunken pals(you had to be drunk to pay their prices)R.I.P.

The Uxbridge Arms, Notting Hill
What a hoot!We spent News Years Eve here and had a ball.The staff certainly know how to have a good time,with some of the clientelle in saucy uniforms.Great beer and atmosphere.Well worth a visit.

All Bar One, Notting Hill Gate
Be very careful when eating outside this bar as you tend to get crapped on by nesting pigeons in the flower boxes.No point letting the staff know as they dont care...as in what do you want me to do about it?How about removing the planters...they only contain ivy anyway

The Hillgate, Notting Hill Gate
This was once a fab pub.Now has lost its way.Where has all the charachter gone?Lovely etched glass panals ripped out in the name of improvement....NOT.Beer also questionable.LIAM and JOSIE will be turning in their graves
