Not bad......for a Wetherspoons. Food is pretty average and bar service on the slow side. On my last visit the beer garden (if you can call it that!) was very dirty and had a large pile of vomit in the corner. When reported to young male member of staff, he cleared it up with good humour.

Needs refurbished. Very tatty and old fashioned. Best appreciated after a few drinks!

Friendly service and very clean. A good place to start off in for a night out.

Consistently excellent for food & service. Well worth a visit if you're in the vicinity.

A former church that's just got no soul . Average/below average food. A bit on the shabby side (and that goes for customer service too....). Go here if you like - cheap food only. Don't go here if you like - to have a few quiet drinks with friends. I made the mistake of having a meal, then about 5 drinks with a friend, then bafflingly got refused service at the bar. ** Responsible drinkers beware!!** Go elsewhere if you value your dignity, time and money.

The kind of place where being barred/heckled/beat up for not standing when they sing " God Save the Queen" is a very real possiblity. Sectarianism is alive and well in Kilwinning...
