The Camden Eye, Camden

Went in here saturday night after dinner with the missus, the first thing that struck me is this pub is like a tardis in reverse, as previous posters have alluded to. The tables and chairs arent the only high thing in the pub, the prices are shocking, 9.20 for a pint of fosters top and a large dry white wine!!!! After asking the barman to repeat the cost and getting the same reply, i asked him how he slept at night, but i dont think he heard me as he neither laughed nor got angry, maybe he hears it quite alot! Needless to say had one drink and f***ed off, which was a shame because the music was good 80's rock classics!!

The Gate, Arkley

Yes a great pub for food but not for a night on the lash! Food and service is excellent, beer not too bad either!

The Garrick Arms, Trafalgar Square

Used to go to this pub alot before clubbing on a friday night with mates. Always a good atmosphere, lager ok and not too pricey for london. Sorry, dont know about the ales as im under 50! Paulb014, did the barmaid in question have a big pair of bristols??

The Olive Branch, Tottenham

our pre and occasionally post spurs pub. Alright to get served and the beer is ok, toilets can get very busy though as quite small!

The Golden Lion, Hoddesdon

not a bad little boozer, bit clicky with some of the locals but friendly altogether. Food is good, have eaten here a couple of times and it has always been very nice. Whenever i have been here the bar staff have always been happy and helpful, especially the bald one, he even did garden service for us!!
