Quiet pub apart from the pool room, staff are reasonable but bored. Drinks are fine, good place to start a night out.

Drinks are as good as any other Wetherspoons pub, service is somehow worse than the others, its as if the bar staff are trying to be terrible. I really can't recommend this place to anyone as the staff are so woefully bad. The tables are filthy and they never clear the garden area, the nicest part of the building is the toilets.

Staff have been getting progressively worse for the past nine years, sticky floors and disgusting toilets. It has become the pub of choice for people that have embraced the student lifestyle a bit too much.
