Recent change of ownership is apparant. Been coming here often for several years and I must say it is the best it has ever been. You can now get a decent pint of Guinness and the bar area is exceptionally clean compared to how it used to be. Friendly owner and staff. Always a good pint of ale on too with a choice of London Pride, Speckled Hen and they have a weekly guest ale. The pub could do with a new lick of paint although it is fair to say they have made a lot of decorative changes for the better with on going work apparant. I wish they would install a patio heater in the smoking area which would be a beneficial bonus for us who smoke in this freezing weather !!

Terrible bar maid, first and last time we would ever go there. She clearly was off her face on drink or drungs, constantly f. saking and using foul language. And she looked like she had just got out of bed. Terrible, and sad in times where pubs are struggling that staff behave like this. Could be a lovely pub with friendly clean staff.
