Ate here a few days ago. Welcoming, friendly with a good atmosphere. Disappointing to report, then, a very tough and tasteless sirloin steak and an overcooked piece of salmon. Wouldn't rush back.

8 of us went there for a late lunch yesterday. A large number of items on the menu were "off". What came was poor quality, over-priced and there wasn't much in the way of fresh vegetables. Very disappointing, and probably worse than the last time we went, which was before the refurb and also disappointing. Beer and wine OK, but don't eat there.

Visited recently and very disappointing food, albeit friendly staff. Game was very poor and tough, as was lasagne. Only the ham, egg & chips was up to scratch.

VERY disappointing food here post-Christmas. Cold plates, lukewarm food and my wife had inedible beef zhalefrezi. Grumpy staff as well.

I've read the comments here with interest, and in particular the comments made last year by the pub's management about heating. I regret to say that when we were there yesterday we found the pub really cold, and left the pub with much colder feet than when we arrived.
