God I used to love this place but my oh my has this place suffered for the big chain merger last year. Its gone right down hill what used to be a great country pub changed into a nice modern dinning experience but now as part of the spirit group it is a boil in the bag disgrace!!! Come back all is forgiven!!

Great pub with a nice little garden for summer. The famous Earlswood lakes are very near ideal for a pre drink/dinner walk. Although this is a brewery pub the food and bear are quite good but the staff is very nice and genuinely seem to care if you�ve had a nice meal! Please keep it up

Firkin type pub, better than most. Real Ale and Belguim wheat beer on draft. Good place to stop off at on way "up town"

The Highland Inn, Little Woodhouse
Great little pub. Beer not at all bad. Privately owned. Loads of film memorabilia on walls. Nice staff soon to have a menu I believe.

Great pub great food lovely setting nice weatheroak local ales.

Great little pub. Nice Food. Has been sold to large brewer who has tidy place up but left it much as its was!!!!! Really nice beer garden

Was a great modern pub when it first opened! Alas its been down hill ever since. Latest version ok if you like cheap caverys otherwise aviod.

Excellet beer buy the oakham brewery and great thai food spot on. (Tip don't leave valuables in car)

The Rose and Crown, Portway
Stop Press.... Pub just bought by the CookHouse Company and has had a makeover. Menu is standard with a reasonable 2 for a Tenner offer, I remain to be convinced that this once lovely pub will regain its former charm but you never know
