The Skimmington Castle, Reigate Heath

This is perfect if you want to spend a long summer's evening outside with friends.
The track leading to the car park is very rough and could easily damage your sump, so be careful.

The Mitre, Anerley

I always liked the look of this place on the outside when I was queuing in traffic but when I went in there it was a bit disappointing. They didn't have the beer I wanted or any salt and vinegar crisps.

The Evening Star, Brighton

This is a relaxing place to come on a Friday night straight from the station, returning to Brighton after a week's work in London. I always used to stop off here with my boyfriend on the way back to his place for a quick pint of cider and a packet of crisps. Pretty chilled out, friendly vibe. Great way to start the evening.

The Whitworth, Rusholme

I used to love this place! My girlfiends and I used to frequent it often whilst living in halls at Manchester uni. In those days it was quite cheap and we used to get drunk on southern comfort and lemonade and vodka and lime. We wasted many afternoons like this!
Would love to visit this place again if I'm ever in the area.
