The Royal Arch Bar, Broughty Ferry

I have been a regular in the Arch for many years and it is very unusual to get a bad pint. If you are unfortunate enough to get one, the bar staff will always change it for you. Being a Cask Marque pub, the staff are trained to spot a pint which is "past its best" so alexw123 must have been very unlucky.

The Hole in the Wall, Torquay

The Hole In The Wall is one of the best pubs in Devon - indeed the South West! The restaurant within provides great food to accompany one or three cracking Real Ales. Mine Host, David Jones is a real gent and makes everyone feel welcome (even us Scots!). Live music on certain days makes for a very entertaining evening. (Top Tip, if you mention Liverpool, the team to support is Everton when you are in the Hole In The Wall!). Seriously, a great pub, great people and a great choice and quality of Real Ale. 11 out of 10.

The Cherub Inn, Dartmouth

We always visit The Cherub when in Dartmouth. One of the best pubs in the South West. Great atmosphere and very friendly. Good to see it in the 2009 Good Beer Guide. Keep up the good work.

The Blue Peter, Polperro

We got a smiling welcome from Caroline and she served the best pint of Tribute I have ever tasted. 11 out of 10!!! We'll be back next year...
