Enjoyed our lunch for 2, good quality food and service but spolit by the starter 'King Scallops' which should have been described as Pork Belly with a pair of scallops, 2 average sized scallops just does not justify the description and is insufficient even though they were tasty. Would have scored higher if not for this disappointment.

3 of us went for lunch, food OK, service OK. Nothing special but also not too bad.

Had to wait for 50 minutes for fish & chaips, steak & chips and chicken wrapped in parma ham (the ham was totally burnt) and oily vegetables. That said the food was still good value for money just a shame about the service.

3 of us enjoyed excellent meals (starters, main meals and desserts). The scallops were beautiful, the venison wellington was the best I have ever eaten, the partridge also excellent. Only one minus the restaurant was too cold needs to be warmer in winter.
