LOL! at the the last review! It is very true of the establishment on a weekend.. It does get pretty wild in there & a police car seems to be parked there regularly after about 10:30pm on a Saturday...
However, of a weekday it is generally filled with families & pensioners. The food isn't fantastic, but it's a Wetherspoons so you shouldn't expect too much.

A cosy little pub, car park is often full on a weekend, so very popular locally.
Lovely food & friendly staff. Can't comment much on beer quality etc as I don't drink sorry!

I can't say much more than chazzles to be honest - the renovation the girls have done on the old place is amazing....it's like a totally different building, just within the same walls as before!
A friend & I went there on a weekday evening recently for food & I would go so far as to say it was the best pub food I have tasted in ages! I only wish I'd had enough room for dessert!
Lovely, family-run pub. Would thoroughly recommend! :)

The Old Smithy, Church Lawford
Lovely pub, set in a quiet little village location.
Fantastic food, at reasonable prices, friendly staff. Would definately recommend.
