Duke of Clarence, Hampton Hill

Re-opened last night in is new guise. All very impressive and new pumps for Twickenham Ales Grandstand Bitter and Naked Ladies alongside Fuller's London Pride. Kitchen looks promising too. Good news. the DoC sign has been retained and was on display in the much improved garden.

The Bell Inn, Hampton

The Bell re-opened on Friday 30th April. Great beer - Sharp's Doombar, Youngs Gold and Tribute along with really great gastro pub food. Good value and great service, highly recommended. Well done Sarah, Simon and the team.

The Bell Inn, Hampton

Great news that Simon Bailey and Sarah Murdock of The Kings Arms Hampton Court have taken the The Bell over and are turning it into a gastro pub ~ re-opening on Saturday 30th April.
Bet they'll win more awards with this one too.

The Kings Arms, Hampton Court

Fantastic to see Sarah and Simon really turn this pub around in the 20 months since they took it over. A really excellent range of Hall & Woodhouse ales and really good food.
Rightful winners of the Great British Pub Awards 'Best Newcomers in the South East' and more recently 'Best Newcomers' by Hall & Woodhouse.
Let's wish them all the best of luck with their new venture and gastro pub, The Bell at Hampton.

Amazing how this pub has gone from a friendly local with a great landlord and good food to a complete and utter damp run by an utter incompetent who couldn't organise a piss up anywhere!
There's also the restaurant which is nearly always empty.
Somewhere along the line one would have thought that the 'management' might have got the message ~ some hope!
Thank goodness for The Roebuck, The Star and The Rising Sun who are steadily attracting all of DoC's previous regulars, apart from the young set.
Not one normally to wish any pub to disappear this one MUST be the exception.
It's such a pity that one can't post a minus rating.

The Jenny Lind, Hampton Hill

Great pub, great beer, super atmosphere - Tammy, Ant and Penny have transformed the pub. What a huge pity Enterprise Inns are doing the dirty on them.
