The Pakenham Arms, Clerkenwell
Well I was eager to try this pub out having read the reviews... but ended up being disappointed. Pub was ok, beers were varied and seemed well kept... but the staff were completely obnoxious. I'm not sure they really wanted any customers. Shame... gets a low rating from me!

My favourite non-London pub. My annual pilgrimage to play cricket against the locals is one of the highlihgts of my year.

The White Hart, Cadnam
It's a restaurant now rather than a pub... but it's worth a visit if you're looking for somewhere to eat in this area. I was there with my wife and two kids; the menu was varied and good value for money too... They only had Greene King and Old Speckled Hen on offer for ales; but the IPA went down with the food very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful too...
