Had a fantastic pint of Youngs here last night, my wife had wine which she was very impressed with. I haven't been here for a while as we have moved away but will definitely be returning!! Keep up the good work!!

Had a truly great meal here on Friday, so good I had Sunday Lunch as well(possibly the best in St Albans)! Good pint(s) of Brains SA and saw a board advertising a free cheese night every Sunday which sounds pretty good. Will update you all on that next week!!!

This is getting quite ridiculous. If you dont like this place go somewhere else and leave us alone to enjoy a nice pint of Youngs Special! Maybe if you weren't so busy in your bedroom on the internet hertsboy you may like to pop into the boot for a drink sometime and see what its really like(that's after you've brushed your teeth!).
Anyone unsure of this guy should just check out his other comments to local pubs!

Was at the Boot for New Years Eve and it was amazing!! Best New Year I have ever had. Well done to the runaway boys for another amazing performance and well done to The Boot for delivering yet again a faultless evening!!! I love you guys!!!

And another comment, when rating the "Waterend Barn" above this pub you really must question who Hertsboy is and why he is so attacking of this brilliant pub!

A fabulous pub! I love it more every visit!! You only have to look at the history of fantastic comments to realise that this is possibly the best pub in st albans(ignoring the allegations by hertsboy who seems determined to destroy the integrity of this pub-I sincerely hope those false comments will be removed!)
The staff are wonderful, intelligent and most of them very talented musicians (Tuesday nights-a lot of them sing)A joy to be here!! Vive la Boot
ps beautiful log fire was lit over the weekend and they were selling chesnuts!!!

The Boot, St Albans
Had a fantastic visit to the boot again with my wife and a few friends last night. This place is always a great night out with a great atmosphere. There seems to be a huge choice of ales now with different ales on each time I visit. Keep up the good work!!
