The East Dulwich Tavern (EDT), Dulwich

I am very happy to say that the EDT is on the up again! I think the bar staff are nice and polite - maybe you should smile at them a bit and dare I say it - buy them a drink????

It's great to see the EDT bouncing back - the new decorations are great! My only complaint is footy in both bars! Have one where we can watch footy when the wife is at home, and one where we can talk to her when she's out with us!

Inside 72, East Dulwich

I am really surprised to see any negative comments about this bar! Best Music in any pub I have ever gone into! As for the bar staff? They are super friendly! My only criticism of Inside 72 is that it is tiny so you can't get many people in there!

Great for a pint on Saturday afternoon, sit there, watch Lordship Lane go buy and listen to great tunes!

The Wishing Well, Peckham

Used to have a snooker table in back! Those were the days, that and happy hour so you could drink your afternoons away playing snooker in a happy, smokey haze!

The Wishing Well is still a top pub which I often pop into. Great for Footy Matches - friendly too!

Should not have got rid of the Wishing Well outside though!

The Gowlett Arms, Peckham

The Gowlett is by far and away my fave boozer in SE22 / SE15! Johnny has done wonders with this pub! The Pizzas are the best this side of Tuscanny and the beers not bad either. Friendly, warm atmosphere generated by friendly warm staff!

Great knitting club on Tuesday nights too!

10 out of 10!

The Hermits Cave, Camberwell

Hermits Cave is, and always will be Camberwell's top boozer! This is a proper pub for proper people!

All together now - "Let's have your glasses please!"

The Prince Alfred, Maida Vale

Used to be a good boozer this! Loved the little cubby holes when I lived round the corner from it in the late 90s. I bet it's been ponced up now like most of the pubs in the world! Oh Well! Anyone fancy popping round mine for a couple of cans in the garden?

The India Arms, Portsmouth

This used to, and I am talking 20 odd years ago now, be one of the best pubs in the country!

The Vale Bar, Dulwich

The Vale's a bit chavvy! Garden's nice though!

I ate in there once and liked it!

I also saw Pompey Thrash Southampton in there with my mate Big Tony! There were some scummers in there but they left crying at half time! I liked it a lot that day!

Mostly now though I walk past it and go somewhere else!

Why? Cos it's a bit crap! Why else?

The East Dulwich Tavern (EDT), Dulwich

This pub's a bit crap! Overpriced too!

Restaurant upstair's nice!

I used to like it and once went in there when it was very dark and I could not see anything but now I don't like it anymore!

The Bishop, East Dulwich

I totally agree with my wife about this pub! Top class establishment with extremely helpful, polite, friendly and downright good looking management and staff.

My missus left her jacket in here the other day when we left at about 9pm. Phoned for it the next day and was delighted to be told that it had not been nicked but handed in! See.... even the punters are nice honest people!

Top Pub so thanks to all who have made it that way!
