The Gardeners Arms, Liverpool

This is a pleasant pub. Nicely renovated and retaining a country pub atmosphere. There is no music... Great. The beer is usually decent. The tenants are pleasant enough if they serve you but display no interest in you ...after 2 years still don't know your name...this is a small pub. In the winter it's freezing col, often colder inside than out.

The County Court Hotel, Woolton

Jackie and John are exceptionally friendly and will know your name once you have been a few times. They have only had the pub for a year or so but have built up trade enormously.
Friendly regulars and good cask beer. Great little pub and much better than anything nearby

Pleasant , friendly, you feel very comforable. Nice landlady. Beer is at best average and too often poor. My rating is low because of beer standads and not the pub or staff.
