Ok on a sunny day but the location is the only thing going for it and the fact sometimes the bands outside are ok.

Lovely pub inside, the roast dinner was lovely. Staff were nice, great music was playing. The crowd there seemed a little pretentious, other than that a nice pub.

Used to be a great place to go on the weekends but now it has a odd crowd and smells.

Really cute old pub, great roast dinners, sweet jars behind the bar and lovely staff :)

The Basketmakers Arms, Brighton
A great old style pub. Lovely atmosphere and nice staff, just wish it was a little bigger but then again being nice and cosy is also its charm.

Great location, lovely interior. Laid back atmosphere, nice staff. Awful toilets and far too expensive.

This pub is lovely inside but lacks something. Went there the other day and the staff didn't seem too interested in being helpful and the coffees were luke warm... it could be so much more.

The Preston Park Tavern, Brighton
Went there with my family including older relatives for my birthday.
Top quality food, best chips I've had in years and great service. Its more like a restaurant than a pub but its a lovely place to go.

The Mash Tun, Brighton
This pub is ok, its location is convenient. It gets too crowded so only good on a sunny day when you can sit outside. There are much better pubs to be found in Brighton though like The Basketmakers Arms, Hop Poles, Shakespeare's Head, Barley Mow...
