something has changed over the last couple of months here because when i went here this evening there was very little of the scally element from previous visits. they've changed the music too which has really chilled it out.
door staff were pleasant enough and i had a lovely pint of Kronenburg (which was quite reasonably priced)
I would have preferred them to have had real ale as all the rest of the decent pubs in didsbury have but i was assurred by the bar staff that they were coming during their refurbishment in a fortnight.
so happy days, i'll come back then and see how they are.
All in all a nice experience, especially compared to the hole next door which seam do delight in closing at very random times. annoying!!!

The Court, Tottenham Court Road
an average pub. small but busy. the staff seam to be a bit too laid back for my liking to the point of leaving you waiting for quite some time at the bar. good selection of lagers though and the food at lunch is alright too. there are better bars in the area which may be slightly more expensive but more worthwhile from an experience point of view

hurray, the new manager is really trying hard in this place and giving it some character. they still need to do something about the vagrants on their tables outside but thats not their fault. Great prices and improving staff. things are looking up. Much better than the its a scream pub over the road who seam to have a few more scum bags in there this year, especially during football

i went in for the first time in about 6 months the other day and i was pleasantly surprised. the staff were smiling for a start. Anyway, they were showing footy and after the music was cool too. It stayed open til 12 too which was a bonus for a wednesday. generally a very pleasant experience and really good value on price given its central location
