Long history for being the pub where Villa's hooligan element meet before and after games.

Nice Posh pub with decent food and the place where the posh totty hang out.
Thursday night is the stuff of legends.Grab a Grannie night as its known in the summer is the best pulling venue for the over 25's in Solihull.

Nice old pub with good pub food for the money and decent beers.Nice in the summer
Only problem is some of the locals who hang round the lefthand side of the bar can be very rude to "Strangers" and seem to think they own the pub.

I used to live 5 mins from The Red Lion and I would have to say this is one of the worst pubs I have visited in ages.
The landlord is a gruppy sod,the beer is awful and nobody seems to care or understand how to maintain beer or a pub in general its just an all round unpleasant pub.
Best pub in Shirley by a mile is The Colebrook.

In response to Troy I have never been barred from a public house in my life.
Its just not a friendly pub and has never had a good atmosphere.
