The Plume of Feathers, Greenwich

Really nice, great staff, good beer...nothing else to add, go for a pint!

Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich

This is a lovely pub, the staff are polite but not overly friendly, they will serve you well but won't have a chat with you so it depends on what you want from your barman. The food is nice, served quickly and with a smile, yes it is expensive but when you look at the location can you blame them?
Worth a visit.

The Cutty Sark Tavern, Greenwich

I visited this pub a few sundays ago - bar service was amazing, they were very busy but the bar manager took it in his stride and took the time to chat about ale, which he was passionate about, and my shirt which he liked, he made us feel very welcome and the black sheep he recommeded was excellent. The atmosphere in the bar was great, the staff were very happy and smiley and seemed to talk to every customer which is rare.

This ecellent atmosphere made us want to stay and order food, which was a big mistake, the food service was appaling, being run by a manager who clearly had no clue and couldn't cope with the sheer volume of people.

She was surly and short with us when taking the order which didnt bode well.
We waited nearly an hour and saw people arrive after us getting their dinner first, and when we went to ask, she had totally forgotten us and she was very dismissive and rude.
Turned out that they had subsequently ran out of the lamb roast dinners we had ordered so we had to make do with the pork which took another 30 minues to arrive, it was ok but nothing to write home about.
My advice to you is to go to the excellent bar and enjoy the ale and the great staff but stay well clear of the food counter and the blonde manager otherwise it will just ruin your day.
