i went in here towards end of last year for lunch.
nice pub and good drinks i do not rate the food though. when it eventually came out it was not hot but they had taken so long so i couldnt be bother to order again and have to wait some more, so i left unsatisfied. and it was over priced.

The Phoenix, Sunbury on Thames
went in this pub twice recently.
looks much better
beer garden great if you are a smoker
but i was a bit shocked at the prices compared to other sunbury pubs ive been in!
young barmaid was not very inviting at all, whatever happened to service with a smile or acknowledgement maybe?!?!! so it has definatley put me off going back!

oh my god how sad is that fella to actually go on here on boxing day and post that comment about this pub. lmao!!
i was there on boxing day after kempton racing and it was a good atmosphere.
i ask one of the bar staff about why there was no chairs on one side of the pub and they said it was coz it gets busy with locals and people from kempton racing on boxing day so they had taken out to make space as the pub is quite small.
i got served very quickly even thou it was busy, and it was a warm pub. i went to 2 pubs down the river in sunbury on boxing day aswell who were far more expensive than this one! i definatly preferred this pub, cheaper and the bar staff were much nicer.

The Jubilee, Sunbury on Thames
ive been to this pub about 3 times over the past year and never had a good experience so wont be going again.
didnt seem very clean and the barstaff did not seem interested in being there at all.
another time i could not gain access to the pub even though there was clearly customers inside and it was during the day, we were told by someone we noticed leaving that it was only open to people watching the football on a special channel?!?.
very unfair in my book and clearly something dodgy goin on there?!?!
lol at the comment from nickthefish agree with u there about the chelsea flags.
disagree with the gp jubilee is no way better than the jockey at least the staff in the jockey are welcoming.
