The Favourite, North Kensington

Don't worry about it anymore, it's been flattened at least 9 months ago.

Fulham Club, Fulham

Currently CLOSED - but being rebuilt

The Wilton Arms, Fulham

Used to be a nice boozer, but had to wait ages for a pint on a recent Monday night, only about 6 people. Over 3 for a manky pint of John Smiths, I'll remember how it used to be when Roy ran it about 10 yrs ago.

The Salisbury Tavern, Fulham

GONE - now another wretched branch of Tesco (March 2011)

The Cottage, Fulham

Used it loads around the time i was 18, but another one that's closed down, rumoured to be being bought by a locally based SW6 (not Fulham FC) Premiership footballer and had it closed.

The Pump House, Fulham

Yes, it's been flattened

The Favourite, North Kensington

It's a dump, hasn't look like it's been decorated since it was built c.1970. John Smiths & Fosters 3, Guinness 3.30. Stay at home and drink indoors.

The Six Bells, Brentford

Went there for a dart match, the barmaid was too busy chatting to her chums and looking after her baby (about 6wks old) to be bothered to serve anybody else.
Waited ages for an expensive pint, my heart dropped when l realised it was a Fullers PH (read thieves) and then 3.20 for a pint of London Pride bilge that's only brewed about a mile down the road.
How do FST get away with it?

The Salutation, Hammersmith

Don't know for sure, but keep being told it's going to close, but I've not spoken to Rob to find out yet.

I stand by every word in my previous statement/comment about this pub from Apr 2008, 'cos nothing has changed, the only thing in it's favour, apart from the P&H (Guinness & Fosters - 5.08, Salutation 6.50 then add another 40p for a drop of blackcurrant, making Guinness 3.75 a pint), it's the best of a bad bunch.
Don't complain to the council about the short measures or the 40p extras, the council staff drink in there as well

Pavilion, Shepherds Bush

It's a lot better than it used to be, i paid my first visit in there since 1996 for a darts match. Guinness 2.79, Carling 2.50.
Quick and efficient service, but it was a Thursday and not many others in apart from the 2 dart teams, but would use again. The bad reputation still seems to be there, but if you've not been there for a while, give it whirl - you may change your mind.

Crockers Folly, Maida Vale

I was there this morning and took a couple of pics, it's not boarded up like the last time I saw it, but it doesn't appear to be open for business (as there was no licencees name above the door) either although people seem to be living there. It would probably also explain why I saw 2 Maroush vans parked on the pavement outside, being blocked in because of people going to Lord's for the cricket.

The Frog Inn the Bedford, Fulham

OMG, I can recall the lino on the floor and the jukebox that used to cost 5p a song, and one of the best dart players I ever played against sadly no longer with us (Danny O'Brien), ok that was 20 years ago. It's a lot better than that now if a little quiet, and a very pretty barmaid that used to bring over the Guinness (3 quite reasonable) when I went there a few times last summer, I'd love to know what happened to her? It's not one of your poncey/yuppie gaffs by Fulham standards. Whatever it's called now, it'll always be The Bedford to me.

The Salutation, Hammersmith

3.25 for a Guinness, a pub that still closes at 11pm and they only thing they show is Sky Sports News all day and night.... what's the point of going in there?
Where the Plough & Harrow is so much cheaper.
Still at least they've got rid of some of the dim/thick/stupid/ignorant eastern European staff.

The Elm, West Kensington

I've been going in here over 20 years, it has changed but not much. The darts probably keep it going though but it's still a nice place and I don't even live in W14 anymore.
