The Jolly Potters Inn, Newcastle under Lyme

this pub aint pretty, but it's a real mans drinking house. Friendly, and funny regulars. Beer is good and if you make the effort there's always someone to chat with. I love this place

The Greyhound Inn, Newcastle Under Lyme

Out of the few times I have been to this pub. I have enjoyed myself everysingle time. Its a bit of a transient pub, never seem to see the same faces ...but the ale is superb and second to none in the area that I have tasted.

Arnold MacHin, Newcastle under Lyme

I'd say Great beer, considering it's a wetherspoons, but I have to echo the staff comments...I get annoyed when i have to hang over the bar waving a tenner just to get noticed.

The Ship Inn, Cardigan

We went to the sjip inn this week June half term. The pub is hampered by the lack of parking space , but it's popular and has a fantastic view, and good outdoors space for summer eating.

The Beer was good and not too expensive. The place seems to be run by Students though, sadly not one senior member of staff visible. The Food Queue was long and I was nervous about the quality as the chefs/cooks looked very young..the prices were high for pub food. However the Prices were justified because the grub was actually very good. Hot, and well cooked , not microwave rubbish. This is a Decent pub, but couls be so much better.

The Old Albion, Crantock

Extremely dissapointed this year. Again we were forced to take kids downstairs. Kids are not 2nd class citizens. Then a really long wait for the food which , when it came was just defrosted Frozen stuff, because the chef hadn't turned in. Pathetic and expensive. Avoid this place, because the customer isn't important to them.

The Princess Victoria, Matlock Bath

Perfect spot, open fire, chatty friendly barstaff. Welcoming locals...a proper old pub none of this new polished town bar feel to this.
