The Mary Shelley, Bournemouth

Friendly and large Wetherspoon/Lloyds No 1 pub.Good choice of real ales and about 40p a pint cheaper then the nearby Moon In The Square.Busy lunch times but very noisy at weekends with loud music and loads of stag and hen parties.

The Firkin Shed, Bournemouth

This friendly micro pub has only been open for about 2 years.Yet last year won the local East Dorset CAMRA pub of the Year award.Used to be a blockbusters DVD shop.Quite small with a cellar at the back where all the ales are stored in barrels. They serve real ales and ciders which change from day to day.Great pub used mainly by locals and CAMRA members. On main road not far from Bournemouth FC. A good place to have a pre-match drink or a few after the match. You will not want to leave this gem of a bar.

The Christopher Creeke , Bournemouth

Nice friendly spoons pub on 2 floors. With a good selection of real ales.Good quick service. For those on a budget pints are 15p- 25p cheaper than The Moon in The Square.
As it is a Lloyds No. 1 bar music does tend to get quite loud at times.
Can get busy at weekends with students from the nearby college.

The Punch and Judy, Bournemouth

PUB CLOSED. Now called DYMK. A gay disco pub with very loud music and no real ales.

The Bakers Arms, Bournemouth

This pub now has a new landlord, not sure if the bar staff are the same as before.Could be worth a visit as good Ringwoods beer.
Which is rare in the Triangle area of town.

The Crayford Arms, Crayford

This pub is getting better. New managers and the outside has been repainted to a very high standard. They have also begun to tidy up inside the pub.The beers were OK on my visits. Friendly staff.
