Not a bad pub but certainly not a great pub. It's tardis like interior was more impressive than the short stay itself for a quiet pint.

Congratulations. A handful of pubs on evening one and a handful on evening two was always going to have a winner. I think you know where this is going. Great welcome. Great interior. If there was one pub that we would return to then it would be this one. My short time here could be summed up in one word. Aaaaaaaah (the nice relaxed one not the one you scream a second into your first skydive)

We didn't expect much from this J D Wetherspoons pub but were pleasantly surprised. Lovely interior and certainly cannot accuse them of poor choice or overcharging. Well done. You've swayed me.

Not a bad pub by any means but hardly great. While the barmaid seemed loud and jovial on evening one her evening off was evening two and she was again loud but this time rather drunk and aggressive to somebody in her party which most certainly didn't add to a nice pint.

The Chimney Boy is now called The Limes and it is the kind of polished bar you would take the missus to for her birthday or suggest she take her friends to for a girls night out. Not a bad place by any means but more of a bar than a pub.

Unlike the pub next door there were lots of customers and the lights were dimmed and it was bustling. In a good way. Warm and welcoming would sum up our short time here.

The Crown and Anchor, Faversham
Annual gentlemens weekend away this year was Faversham so planned a handful of pubs on evening one and a handful on evening two. This was the first on evening one and this one was added to the list because of good rating. If we could turn the clock back we wouldn't have bothered. Terrible pub. Good rating? I don't know where to start. On arrival the landlady said with a smile "we don't have much on tap". Thankfully the evening improved after leaving.

The Bear Inn, Faversham
A warm welcome was followed by an enjoyable drink surrounded by chirpy clientele in very nice surroundings. Only good things to say about The Bear. A commendable second place.
