The Red Lion, Hunningham

Had an OK sunday lunch here recently - portions on the large side. The only cask beer on was Greene King IPA which was kept well enough. River-side location is stunning and ideal for families.

The New Bowling Green, Warwick

Bombardier was good. Friendly pub & worth a visit.

The Cape of Good Hope, Warwick

Agree with recent comments below - especially about the Two Llocks and scratchings. Good gammon (decent size as well), egg and chips.

Top boozer.

The White Horse, Leamington Spa

Good compromise between town centre bar and pub. Cask beer OK but not stunning - the number of beers 'on' has diminshed somewhat over the last couple of months. Weston's draught cider is dangerous!

The Leopard Inn, Bishops Tachbrook

Used to be a cracking country pub with good food and ale. Recently renovated and turned into a shiny bar that is completely out-of-place in the village setting. When I went in shortly after the refit, they had no cask conditioned beers on. Didn't stay to find out what the food was like and haven't been back since.

I pity the people of Bishop's Tachbrook who have lost a cracking local.
