Completely changed. Now gone upmarket with meals .large drink selection and taking plastic. good looking barmaids as well.

A proper doss house full of chancers. Keep you eye on your jacket. phone etc. When you go to the bog they will drink your beer.

its a very well run gastro pub, but the quality of the meat they are using has gone down since they started buying from a butchers in north end rd, they used to have meat delivered from a company that supplied west end hotels, still a great pub but by penny pinching they will lose some punters,

i have always found the staff to be nice, sometimes they play 1970's music which i love, black sabbath, deep purple etc. the guinness is bang on. a good pub.
