The Fox House Inn, Longshaw

this is a fantastic country pub ideally positioned to take in all that the area has to offer.the real ale is of a good standard with monthly festivals to offer some unusual and hard to get ales.
i understand there is a new menu out soon to back up the great specials they normally have on which i have seen on their vintage inns website.
i cant wait until they get the fires lit for those cold nights after a long walk.

The Shepley Spitfire, Sheffield

On the strength of our last visit last year we took the family out for a meal and a few drinks. Completely amazed at the turn around. The staff were extremely rude and a man with a laptop at the end of the bar (which i believe to be the manager) totally ignored us and made us feel extreemly unwelcome so we left. Wont be going back!

The Fleur de Lys, Sheffield

a nice looking old pub from the outside.however when we got inside we found the place to be a bit untidy and the service wasnt all that good.we ordered some food which looked to be good value but when the meals were served they were very poor and we ended up getting our money back and trying another nearby pub on mickley lane.
ok pub for a quick drink but leave the food alone.

a great little pub under new management which has made a great difference now that food is being served again.ideal place for parties, we had a family celebration recently and the whole family were made really welcome. we thoroughly enjoyed it and have booked our daughters birthday party as a result.

The Sutton Arms, Sutton

I used to be the manager of this pub when it was the hogshead dec99'-aug'03. visited with my old supervisor last week and found it to be ok.loads of staff and fairly clean.toilets were untouched by time.
didnt have the 10 casks i used to but still an ok choice for a town centre pub

Auberge, Uxbridge

A nice place to get away from it all even if it is the dearest place in Uxbridge. Worth the extra cash though as it reduces the chance of coming into contact with and chavs. A couple of Duvels and a pot of pistachios and im in heaven!

Nazdarovya, Uxbridge

Typical fri/sat night venue.full of chavs and very expensive. I recently ordered 4x JD and coke and was amazed when i only got a small amount of change from a 20.and the cheeky w...... charged me for 4 bottles of coke when they only used 1 between all 4 drinks (Due to the vast amount of ice i guess).

The Hogshead, Uxbridge

I used to drink in the hogs until last year whilst at Uni and always found it to be a great watering hole.Clean pub, friendly staff who enjoyed working there and always something happening. However i was really disappointed last week when i visited. The place has really gone down hill.the beer was warm, the staff were rude and it took ages to get served. My friends meal looked like something that could almost pass as food, and it would seem that all the local chavs have taken up residence. dont waste your time here as you will be sorry.
