The Cricketers, Turgis Green

went to the door and did a 180 degree turn- this used to be a pub...now i've no idea what it is...

The Ship and Mitre, Liverpool

Best real ale pub in britain- hands down. A dying breed of real pub that will soon be gone.

The Jekyll and Hyde, Turgis Green

What a joke of a pub- years ago this was a great place- some guy has come in with his kitsch ideas of what looks classy and wrecked the place...complete with fake chalkboards! Probably some builder type who thinks this is chic. The menu laughably talks about fresh produce and a different kind of pub- then serves up dreadful microwaved nonsense- at a premium! Beer is ok though- but the atmosphere has been destroyed by a 'pack em in' and rip em off mentality- anyone who remembers this place will have much to mourn- only stopped in as it was getting late....never again!

The Curlew, Bournemouth

Another poor quality chain pub in a kitsch 'farmhouse' style. We had some poor quality microwaved fare in there- and check this- the guy who couldn't speak english had to walk about with the foul tasting sauces because there weren't enough to go round! Another reason to bail out of Britain...nice enough people go there though- which makes a change for Bournemouth!

The Hop and Kilderkin, Winton

Never seen such a motley bunch as this place. I only nipped in for the loo- then chavs older than my dad were giving me looks- what a joke. TV screens everywhere and not a middle class person to behold...

The Richmond Arms, Charminster

very funny- the barstaff are clueless- my friend and i popped in for a pint about 12- only ones in there- the guy served us- then he came up to my friend and said 'only allow trainers if it's part of work gear' HA HA - work that one out??? Then- being the only two in there- he was in the kitchen- and as you do- i called out- another two of the same when you're ready mate- to be met with a frosty- 'yeh, let me get out of the kitchen first mate..' we left in protest. what a dive- bournemouth is frightening.

Dean Park Inn, Bournemouth

I was shocked at the casual manner and couldn't care less approach displayed by what appeared to be the landlady and husband. This is yet another casualty of the 'anyone can be a landlord' capitalist big brewery monopoly that Britain does so well. Dreadful.

Goat and Tricycle, Bournemouth

the good beers are ruined by a careless bureaucrat bar staff who get paid regardless of the poor service and miserable looks you get. not sure what it is but Bournemouth must be one of the roughest places I've ever experienced. Shame- this pub could be ok.

The White Swan, Solihull

Usual wetherspoons disgrace. What do you want for 1.50 though? No staff, who are utterly unknowledgeable and useless, the clientele are frightening and the whole place is liek drinking in a station waiting room. Food which you would dare not feed to your cat. The worst that Britain has to offer- and there will be more of them! Real ales are ok though- but do you REALLY want to drink out of those glasses????? for this it has to get a 3.

The Litten Tree, Basingstoke

as mentioned above- chav-fest extrodinaire..full of angry lager-fulled males

The Hare and Hounds, Basingstoke

Hold onto your hats as you face a line-up of intimidating council-estate based scrotes- a most frightening of all pubs, as is most of Basingrad...

The Masons Arms, Solihull

Actually not a bad pub- and that tells you how bad the rest of Solihull is...it leads a strange double-life...one half of the place is a traditional pub, but walk through to the other half and it is scrote city and a disco venue!!!! It's not that bad as long as you take it for what it is- and they get a five because they often have Timothy Taylor's Landlord or another tasty ale and they are looked after ok...
