The Common Room, Ealing Common

now this is a pub that i really enjoyed, great food and cocktails, really friendly staff which is very unusual for a cocktail bar

cheap beer and cheap food, had an early breakfast here one day and ended up leaving at 3 drunk. not a good idea

guinness was given to me after like ordering it straight away do these people not know how to pour a good pint without bubbles in the top, dead atmosphere and place was full. moved on

landlord in flanagans told me to come in here for a game of pool, bit on the quiet side but beer was good and had a few games of pool with out being disturbed.

guinness is a no go'er but the pub is well decorated, no one in while having a drink but will be back looks like a decent enough place

Flanagans, West Ealing

good little boozer about 5 mins off ealing broadway, landlord is a gent and keeps a great pint of stout for only �2.80. racing on the telly and a good laugh with the locals, plenty of winding up going on between the landlord and one of the locals in the corner, comedy. it's certainly worth a visit just to meet 'aidan' who will tell you a story or twenty......
