The Old Eagle, Camden

Nice enough place but I have to express concerns about the dirty filthy gents toilet where there are two sinks, one of which has a broken hot water tap and the panel beneath these has been hanging off for the past 6 months or so not to mention there is a small bowl in the cubicle beneath the cistern to catch a leak which constantly gets knocked over causing the floor to flood. In the circumstances I would advise against wearing a nice pair of shoes.

The Two Brewers, Northaw

Went here again today and again not dissapointed, my other half had the roast chicken dinner and I tried the salt beef sandwich which was absolutely spot on and as good as I have ever had, washed down with a couple of beers. As usual the staff were very obliging and polite. Being a retired publican myself I would highly recommend this pub.

Belushi's, Camden

Went in here on Sunday 26th February to watch the Arsenal - Tottenham game and despite three staff being behind the bar it was hard work trying to get served and it was not over busy apart from a crowd watching the game just inside the door. I had three pints whilst I was there, Fosters, Carlsberg and a Kronenburg all of which went flat very quickly. I wouldnt go out of my way to visit this place again.

The Two Brewers, Northaw

Very nice and well run pub in a lovely peaceful location with very friendly staff and a good selection of beers. The food also deserves special mention with an excellent menu catering for almost every ones tastes and is reasonably priced.
I use this pub on quite a regular basis and is worth the 15 mile journey from London and Christine (the landlady) always makes you very welcome.

Crown and Horseshoes, Enfield

I went to this pub on Sunday and had to wait 20 minutes to get served with only two young girls trying to cope as best as they could. Surely on a Sunday it should be priority to get customers served quickly although the waiting time for food was reasonable and the quality of the food and drink were O.K. The large garden area was crowded with families and the empty glasses and crockery had not been cleared from any of the vacant tables, which does not give a good impression for a first time visitor, although some effort was made to clear the glasses during my hour long stay. The patchy grass area was also littered with cigarette ends which is rather a shame as these little things count, especially with so much competition and the present economic climate. Shame to see a such a lovely ideally situated pub not running to it's full potential.

The Kings Tun, Kingston Upon Thames

I visited this pub at lunchtime today and definately not the usual nice place normally associated with the Wetherspoon group. Although there was plenty of empty tables it was hard to find one that was free of empty glasses and crockery. Not exactly a nice atmosphere either.
