The White Horse, Hampstead Heath

Difficult not to like this place, its such a beutiful building. Had an amazing thai meal here, much better than most pub thai efforts. Highly recomended. Overall though, for me it lacks soul, boaring beer selection and I can't stand tellys in pubs, if i wanted to watch telly i would stay at home.

The Stag, Belsize Park

A pleasing refurb. massive garden with covered areas. will be superb in the summer. lots of original features retained, such as the old victorian bar. 2 real ales, both very good. obviously not trying to be a gastro but the food is simple and reasonably priced. Music left a little to be desired but wasnt bad enough to drive me away. Overall a very nice pub and pleasent place for a few pints.

The Bull and Last, Gospel Oak

Went off this place for a bit but its growing on me again, looks lovely. Must get around to eating here sometime, the food looks nice. Good to see the ales back on form too. Well done guys.

The Star, Highgate

A curious review Darren! Have eaten and drank loads of times at this pub, service might not always be the best in the world but the staff are always very polite and the food is only rarely short of excellent, certainly never poor. I know a good deal of local folk who all love the star and use it regularly.

I notice you have left exactly the same review on other websites, they must have really brushed you up the wrong way!
