Don't know how long Ember Inns have been running this but since we moved to the area last summer it's the pub we keep coming back to. Good beer selection (although I've not got beyond the Harvey's yet), decent grub and unfailingly pleasant and helpful staff.

I've been drinking here once a week for the past 15 years and while it's always been good, the recent expansion of the range of ales on offer has made it even better. My weekly visit is now like going to a mini-beer festival ...

A proper pub to enjoy a decent beer and a chat, unlike the cavernous chain bars on the rest of the high street.

Nice enough pub but the bar staff are a bit slow. Maybe they were just thinking up a reason to justify charging me �3.40 for a half of orange and lemonade, an impressive 21% more than the price of a pint of so-so Bombardier.

The Chelsfield, Chelsfield
Looking a lot smarter since refurb, although I think I preferred the wooden floor to the cream wall to wall carpet. Beer's OK have yet to try the food.
