The Spotted Dog, Barking

This pub's main virtue is that it is still open, whereas nearly every other local pub has closed. I have to say that since Wetherspoons next door closed, they have cleaned up their act a bit. There's more new outside seating both out front and at the back. The atmosphere there isn't too friendly either, particularly at weekends.

Still closed. The building is now part of a hotel. Shame - When it was open it was my favourite pub in Barking

No known at the King's Lounge - Not a very friendly sort of place. Can't think of any reason why I would want to go there. At least it's still open for business which most of the pubs in Barking are not.
