Very nice building, beer good, food average. Great location and the perfect place to stop off on your travels. One word of warning, the pub may be children friendly but the landlord certainly isn't. He is an over-egotistical fool and full of his own self importance!! This used to be a really friendly, welcoming pub, all I can say is my feet will do the talking......"Don't live in a pub if you don't like the sound of people enjoying themselves in it."

WE now visit the pub every wednesday after tennis. A lovely place for a drink when the missus still thinks you are excercising
