The Jolly Farmer, Bramley

I love this pub.Just the blackboard full of new ales from all over is enough.
Great beer, well kept, and well served.

Wheatsheaf, Rudgwick

The Wheatsheaf has closed again. The last publicans were really good so if they cannot make a go of it then not much hope unless Chris Evans decides to buy it!
Real shame was looking forward to a few summer Sunday pints there.

Scarlett Arms, Walliswood

Cannot quite work out why this pub did not work, nice setting, old beams and log fire, old timber furniture, decent pint, all the things that make a good pub. However, this is not enough. Old is good but the pub was grubby. Perhaps there is an element of blindness going on. The staff were good fun, maybe a little over the top but at least making the effort. The food was not very good, out of the number of dishes ordered by us none actually got it all right.

The Bulls Head, Ewhurst

Not sure what is happening here but this is supposed to be about the pub!
The staff here are very hard working, the landlady and Landlord are very welcoming and the head barman takes a very keen interest in the beers that are put on and likes to talk about them with the customers. Good quality pub food served in front of open fires and log burners which is important in the Winter and makes the atmosphere. A very good village pub that supports the local community.
The Hobgoblin is great, Cheers!

The Three Horseshoes, Cranleigh

Think some of these comments are a bit unfair. The pub seems to have a bar for the lads on the left and for the older locals on the right. I fit into the latter. I call in maybe once a week for a couple and the staff are friendly and so are the locals if your willing to smile and say hello when you enter. They do not know me from Adam as am not originally from the area but get the same hospitality each time. Nice to see proper pub dogs as well.Beer is very good, nice selection, and the pumps are well used so no lingering after taste.Good pub so don't let the bad reviews put you off, try it!
