Why bother? It's cold in there, unwelcoming and pricey......when it' open!!

Manager has retired so we'll see what the replacement is like.....
Very "clicky" pub, not good with giving the correct change but very good with cold food! A couple of the bar staff are ok, the rest seem to have attitude issues. Will be a good place to go when the bar staff are managed of an evening and finally realise they work in a business not a playground with all 4 TV's blearing football noise!

I agree with Rich66 comments. Most of the staff are helpful and know who needs serving next.
Pumps have been replaced so lager is ice cold.
Beware of the foul mouthed & rude queen working (HUH !) the bar Friday nights !

Great pub, really friendly atmosphere and staff ice cold lager in a clean glass. Spent an entire evening there and thoroughly enjoyed it !

Probably the worst Wetherspoons I have set foot in. Have been a few times to form this opinion.
The manager closed the pub at 8.30pm following the england / portugal match AFTER his staff served a customer & family food and drink who where wearing england football shirts.
Manager was rude and arrogant towards the customer who whacked him ! manager proceeded to stomp around the pub hollering and shouting then closed it!
If you're planning to go there beware there is no where else within walking distance !!

Ok of a weekend and outside commuting hours....basically a station boozer.
Graham could do with loosing the aggressive rude attitude i.e. opening line to serving...YES!! as opposed to hello, what can I get you?
