Havent been in this pub for a long time but I popped in the other day quickly, looks very different since I last came in and it much improved. Like most older spoons though it could do with a bit of a refurb and clean up. Couple of the staff didnt seem that interested but good to see Tom still working very hard there and still a good range of products

mrgrumpy it doesnt seem that you have anything nice to say about any of the pubs you visit?
As for guest ales we currently use only local brewers (JW King, Hogsback, Pilgrim etc) and have 2 guests on plus Abbot and Ruddles. The only time that this differs is when one will run out and is in the process of having a new one put on. This has been the case for a long time now

The Railway, Merstham
Went in this pub recently for a pint after there was some issues with the train but ended up walking out. It was like a scene from the wild west with almost complete silence as someone other than a regular walked in the door. I was stood at the bar and waited for service but 2 clearly local people that the bar staff knew walked up behind me and were served drinks before I was even asked what I would like to order. Walked out and back to the station I went with a bottle of coke that came from the garage. Has the potential to do well but clearly the regulars only want other regulars there.
