Travellers Rest, Alpraham

Hmmm.. Where do I start?.......Well take a trip for yourself. A throwback to another age. I guess changing rooms would be gob smacked!! Shame about the wall boarding in one of the four small rooms. The outside loo (Mens and Ladies) kinda make you feel like bringing a few sheets of newspaper for tearing up!! Try popping your head around into the garden, you will find a bowles green and a cottage garden... And a super Cheshire view.... Back inside this time capsule I can vouch for a good pint of real ale... Not sure how long this place can last but give it a visit now before it's toooooooooo late! It's on the Camera's National inventory....But that alone might not save this wonderful pub to the modern world... Long may it live!

The Garibaldi, St Albans

Good drop of ESB in here...Needs to bring the price of its beer down as other pubs have a bit more in comfort...Still a nice pub.........Mitch

The Prince Albert, Angel, Islington

Great find.....
Newly restored..Clean.... Relaxed ambiance... Friendly...Landlord Perfect....the barman made my wife a cup of coffee and I just had a half of real ale and he only charged me 1.25. How many places would give you a coffee on the house and this being just a first visit. Only called in for a quick half. Lots of interesting reading matter and games...Quite a find this one Little Gem........Mitch

The Narrow Boat, Islington

Nice Pub ......bit modern as a contrast to The Wentlock Arms 5 mins away....shame they don't ban smoking here. My wife and I visited The Camden Head, The Prince Albert, The Wentlock Arms and ended our short pub crawl befor going back to catch a train home to sunny Milton keynes......Mitch
