The Royal Oak, Borough

To put it simply - this pub rocks! Great real ales (I had the Armada myself which was lush) and amazing food! Of the main road, great interior, loads of CAMRA awards on the walls and books for sale! I just love this pub!

The Earl Ferrers, Streatham

Apart from being a bit quiet on a Saturday night, i love this pub! Seperated in two - lounge and pool room - it allows you to play pool without hitting too many people with the cue. Great music, shame there are no real ales. I live this pub and i will certainly be going back. Maybe on quiz night!

The Lord Clifden, Birmingham

Visited this pub with my boyfriend at the weekend to watch the Villa match. At first I wasn't too sure as it didn't look too friendly from the outside but once inside it was very friendly and quite cosy.

Nice real ales, nice rolls, sadly didn't get to sample the menu as they had stopped serving food by the time we got there. They did sell Sherbert Dib-Dabs which I personally thought was a stroke of genius!

I'm sure I will be going back at some point and I certainly won't be dragging my heels!!

De Hems, Soho

Not a bad pub. good selection of beers. Has fruli which i am glad to see is becoming quite common place in pub in london. tables where a bit too close together which made it a little uncomfortable and certainly wasn't a cheap round. ok to pop into but hasn't got any appeal to make me want to make a night of it in there.

The Intrepid Fox, Soho

I am also in disbelief that this pub will be closing its doors and so soon!

The pub has great character and is amazing in its interior design, no ties policy and general ambience. I think it will be a great shame if this pub were to close its doors and become flats. Not only are we losing the Astoria and Mean Fiddler to developers, now we are losing the Fox.

Please sign the petition if you read this so hopefully we can stop the pub from closing!

The Wrong 'Un, Bexleyheath

My boycott didn't last long I have to admit. a friend insisted on going recently much to my annoyance but I was pleasantly surprised. It is now non smoking which seems to have deterred the chavs and young un's from the pub as per the previous users comments. service was still a bit slow but it was nice to be able to go home without smelling of smoke. It also allows us to take our pregnant friend out somewhere! If they improve the service I may be encouraged to go more often!

The Golden Lion, Bexleyheath

I love this pub. Not cheap compared to the Wrong Un up the road but it has a decent music play list, they used to have brilliant live bands (I hope they still do but haven't been up on a friday in a while) and the food isn't too bad either. I've made some brilliant mates up there over the years. I hope the current management keep the good work up! Also you cannot fault the theme nights. Never seen so many people up for dressing up and having a laugh. I still remember the custard wrestling for Comic Relief last year!!

Stumbled upon this pub when we were trying to find somewhere to grab a bite to eat. Lovely atmosphere. Very good food. will definitely be going back!

The Hare and Billet, Blackheath

Went to this place for my boyfriend's birthday drinks. Lovely place. Now a Greene King Pub and it shows. Great service and really friendly staff!! didn't try the food although the menu looked good and I will probably go back up there with the boyfriend at some point for something to eat. Great views across the heath and parking outside. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to have a nice quiet drink with mates where you haven't got to shout!

The Wrong 'Un, Bexleyheath

Went to this pub recently for a catch up with an old school friend. was slightly annoyed to be asked for ID especially as I used to serve the guy when i worked in one of the other pubs in Bexleyheath. Got the drinks in and was then ID again by the manager later in the night but as my friend who is 25 and married didn't have ID on her we were asked to leave. Tim (previous landlord) might have been a drunk but at least he was more friendly to his customers and had some common sense when it came to ID-ing people who drank in there! I will not be returning. and i imagine the rest if the 30-somethings who were turfed out that night will also be boycotting this pub. Would rather go to the Lion!
