Yes indeed this used to be the Catherine Whel... In answe to the staff turnover i speak from experiance. As a bar manager now who runs three freeholds i can safely say ive never worked under worse management. I worked here for just over 5 weeks in my first week 6 members of staff quit and advised me to do the same. I ended up working two weeks on my own on my 5th week i collapsed due to exhaustion and broke a rib dude to cpr i was off for three days and went back to work in complete agony and was subsequently sacked
I advise anyone drinking or staff to find another complete shambles of a pub

As a former member of staff during its heyday i was there two and a half years it saddens me to see it in such a state

So its happened again guys. Ive havent been paid for the second week running and das not been paid. Although the customers make the pub the running of it from above is awful so all in all this is what we ha to deal with
No Dishwasher
No Hot water
No Heating
No Dishwaser in kitchen
No Cooker
No Heaters outside
No lights outside
An Ice machine with a mind of its own
Tell me how you can run a decent pub like that. Ah wel best of luck to all the loyal suctomers that made our time there enjoyable.
Best wishes
Frank and Darren..
