The Skimmington Castle, Reigate Heath

much improved..

Staff now match the location, back to its Sunday Times best.

The Market Hotel, Reigate

we have a winner in the category of worst dressed and most miserable bar staff.

FFS Fullers get sort this place out, it used to be so much better.

The Black Horse, Reigate

Had a referb' and under new management.

Lost all of its charm and ambiance, it cant seem to decide if its a pub or a restaurant. Still has Pilgrim on tap so one plus point, but there are better local alternatives,

The Skimmington Castle, Reigate Heath

wonderful location spoilt by indifferent staff.

Beer selection is good but service is so Slow....

Gets 5 out of 10 would be higher if the staff could add up

The Black Horse, Reigate

beer pricey, but the staff are friendly, and the pub is far enough out of Reigate to keep away most of the idiots.

thumbs up from me.

The Skimmington Castle, Reigate Heath

Pub seems to have more character than of late, same the bar staff are still useless.
Saturday night, busy and only one person behind the bar? No concept of making eye contact, and though i never got to try them only one bitter on. ( i gave up waiting)

I wont be back.

The Red Cross Inn, Reigate

Well after another chance of manager my once favourite reigate pub has hit new depths.

The interior was filthy, 2 of the 4 advertised biiter's were off, the remaining 2 were poor. The bar staff were as dirty ( as in unwashed) as the pub with only a very basic command of english. Everone smokes directly outside the front door filling the bar with smoke, i could go on but you get the general idea.

AVOID!

The Red Cross Inn, Reigate

Well the new landlord is a bit of a "Chav" but things aren't as bad as they could be. `There still seems to be a good selection of bitters. Staff seem friendly, but the village idiots are still in residence, especially at weekend's

The Blue Anchor, Reigate

Previous owners have gone bust, (as predicted). However not much sign of improvement either here or in the Cross.

The White Hart, Reigate

Wonderful pub! only for the fact that it keeps all the W*****s out of any other establishment I might happen to visit. I've been to more pleasant Cesspits.

The Prince of Wales, Reigate

A rising star, Having been one of the best and worse pubs in Reigate over the last few years.

Dcor has improved, beer is excellent. Staff are friendly, if only they could get rid of the hangers-on from the bad old days it would be almost perfect.

The Blue Anchor, Reigate

Owners seem to have lost the plot!

Both this pub and the Red Cross (same owners) have gone down-hill fast.

Pubs are dirty, beer quality is a bit of a lottery, Staff seem not to care, all very sad really, as they were two of the best pubs in reigate.
