The Old Packet House, Altrincham
This is a great little pub, with friendly staff and good food. Nice beer garden for the sun and a large TV for the sport. The Hyde pint I had was great.

OPEN - This has re-opened. Looks like more of Wine Bar/ Restaurant but they have made a great job of the outside and I will call in a for a meal in the near future.

The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham
What a great Pub. Every room has been redecorated (including the toilets) and all new furniture. New Large screen for the World Cup. Great selection of beers (The Bank Top stuff is great) and wines (glass or bottle) and I understand that the food will be back on shortly. Rock Bands every Sat & Sun (full list on display in the pup for the whole year. Quiz night on a Wednesday with free food. A great Pub with great staff

Kellys Bar, Altrincham
A remember watching the 2002 World Cup (but this year 2006) its was at the Market Tavern. Cany understand why all the new developes of Alty have not taken this over. What is the point of building a flash new opening for the shopping area and leaving this wreck
