only went in after being told about it by someone in another pub, not far from where i live and my husband was very keen on it, good selection of beer for him and nice wine for me, if did not have to drive we would make it our local, well if we went out that much!!!

The Dukes Head, Heath and Reach
had meal with friends couple of weeks ago, very nice, pretty busy but was handled well, lovely spicy curry, went down well with my wine. will go again when down that way

not really a pub, but a good hotel, the bar is very smart but felt a bit un-comfortable getting to it through the reception. thought i was being wierd till i mentioned it to a friend and she said the same thing, that said the wine was very nice if not a tad of the expensive side.

The Black Lion, Leighton Buzzard
yeah good pub meet some friends there for a chat, fairly quiet but was 3 in the afternoon, nice glass of wine.would return if in town again

The Axe and Compass, Heath and Reach
went in after nice curry up the road, the sports side is a bit rough and ready but we were directed to the dining side, they had stopped doing food, and we sat in some nice comfy tub chairs and enjoyed a bottle O&G pinot grigio was very nice and lovely and cold, will have to come in for food sometime soon.
