The Spyglass Inn, Overcombe

Since this pub changed hands I don't like it at all! it's trying to be all posh, it should have stuck to what it was good at, a tourist pub for families with a laid back atmosphere! now it's all up tight and they look down their noses at you!!!

The Sunray at Osmington, Osmington

We went for a family birthday meal and we very diapointed! first of all it was the whole business with where you can and can't sit!! Totally agree with "acastle57" and would like to say you didn't miss much by walking out!!!
Our starters we rubbishy pre packed frozen stuff and the fish main was awfull!! The Service is terrible and i've heard they have a high staff turn over!

Maybe the managment need to simplify the menu to things the chef can cook and try to boost their staff morale. If the staff were happy they'd be nicer to the customers!!??

A shame really because this is my 'local' pub and I'd like to see it thrive for the sake of the village!

Drovers Inn, Gussage all Saints

rgb I don't think you know what you are talking about!!!

The beef (is actually water buffalo) and one of the best roast dinners I have EVER had!
The hot rock is amazing and when i'm there it seems very popular too.

I could go on but I think Jamie.dawson42 has already said everything for me and I agree with Jamesnichols when he says he "would challenge anyone to find a better all round pub in the south of england."

I think Jason and Jo do an amazing job running this traditional country pub! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Drovers Inn, Gussage all Saints

I love this Pub the food is fab and the ale always good! I love the fact dogs are welcome and it has a lovely garden for the summer!! A really Friendly atmosphere from the staff and locals, always a pleasure!
The only thing i could say is why don't they stock White Zinfandel? My favorite wine would make my favorite pub even better .
